Hail Maps is operated by Individual Entrepreneur Karpets A.V. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you sign in, buy a report or subscribe: to sign you in and send your report and alerts.
• Addresses you search: turned into coordinates by the US Census Geocoder. For statistics we keep only coordinates rounded to about 1 km, not the address text. For a purchased report we keep the address and point to produce and re-send the PDF.
• The ZIP codes in your alert area.
• Your mobile number and the record of your consent (time, IP address, browser), if you turn on text alerts: to send hail alerts. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the provider that delivers the messages (Twilio).
• If you add your brand: company name, phone, website and logo, printed on your reports and share pages.
• Two cookies: an anonymous visit id (hm_sid) to count visits, searches and purchases, and a session cookie when you sign in. The site sets no advertising cookies.

Who processes data for us

• Dodo Payments — checkout, payment, tax and invoices. We never see your card details.
• Resend — delivery of sign-in links, reports and alerts.
• Twilio — delivery of text message alerts.
• Cloudflare — hosting, database and storage.

Retention and your rights

Account data is kept while your account exists; visit statistics for up to 24 months. To get a copy of your data or delete it, write to support@myhailmap.com.
